I love this casino compared to others in the area! The outside is impressive and boasts a really cool water feature outside. On the inside, it's a large room with a very cool mural around the ceiling depicting Native American life. As an added feature, the light fixtures look like lit torches! **There's a clean air room for those who are sensitive to smoke** Many of the games are progressives and are very interactive. There's a food court that has many different options as well. In general, this casino seems to be a little more upscale compared to the one in Watersmeet, MI.

The breakfast buffet was certainly adequate and then some. The entire buffet area was kept constantly clean and everything was replenished and kept warm. My only problem was with the omelette. They were far too oily, and the guy making the omelettes was way too slow. For the first time that I can remember, I couldn't finish it and left it half on the plate. There was literally a puddle of oil on my plate. At just $7.50, it was a very good breakfast. Compared to other all-you-can-eat breakfast venues in the area, I think the Lau Du Flambeau casino is certainly one of the best.

Casino is clean and machines are relatively new and fun!!! Buffet is reasonable & generally quite good!!! Beautiful views of the lake... All around a good experience.

The Good: Very clean rooms, pleasant atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff The Okay: Buffett was pretty standard The Bad: The pool was closed for cleaning and we were not told this when we made reservations! We were dissapointed when we saw the sign (we were ready to go in our swim suits!). Too bad, because it looked likea nice pool!

Gorgeous amazing views of the lake. Gorgeous resort with big open windows for viewing lake. Pool is amazing! Kid pool with fake bear statue and slide. Humungous hot tub also. Casino buffet has average food. But only ate breakfast and lunch. Lunch is better in my opinion. Rooms are average, but we didn't stay in the room much, so I wasn't looking for spectacular comfort. I would come back here most def!!

The Lake of the Torches hotel was great. Awesome pool, relatively quiet when we stayed and and a nice lodge style feel to the place. Definitely a good deal for the price. The rooms weren't amazing and the walls could be thicker, but the pool was awesome and the casino wasn't too small. The dinner buffet was ok, but the stay was enjoyable and nice overall.
